For certain videos, it can be hard to specifically tag individual items in each frame. To help with this Smartzer allows you to 'group' products together so that you can tag a collection of items to each frame.

When a user clicks on a group within the video, the overlay is activated and the group of items is presented. Here is an example of how the group pop-up looks in the player:

In the image above the items on the right-hand side has been added to the group and the image on the left is the 'group image'. This functionality is particularly effective for fashion videos as it's possible to group each item together and create a 'Shop the Look' functionality in the player.

How to build a group

In order to group your items together (eg. build a 'Look' for a group of fashion items), navigate to the 'Groups' section of the editor using the navigation panel on the left-hand side.

To create a group click the '+' icon on the right. When creating your group you can name it (this is for the editor only, it will not show in the video), add a group image and select the items that you wish to include in the group. Please note that the group image will appear on the group pop-up in the video.

Once you are happy with your selection then click SAVE to add your group to the project.

Once created, you can then drag and drop your group to your video area, timeline or add it to your drawer.

Note: Groups cannot be added to your replay screen or live stream project.
