In this article you will find key information that will help you use our player to its full potential to reach your engagement goals.

Tip #1: Adding call-to-action text to your splash screen

In the splash screen section of the editor you can customise the first screen that your viewer sees. The splash screen is a tab located at the very start of the timeline.

Here, you can add a call-to-action symbol to encourage viewers to play and interact with your video. This can be one of the default icons or you can add a custom image that you may have saved. An effective call-to-action could be something like 'click to shop the look' or 'click to explore'.

See below for guidance...

Tip #2: Make sure your hotspot tagging covers a large area

When tagging your video with a clickable area, make sure the clickable square covers a large proportion of your video screen. This will insure that viewers can click anywhere to find out your product information.

Note how we have covered the entire window with the hotspot square! This means viewers can't miss.

Tip #3: Include a clear call-to-action throughout your video

Including a call-to-action for the duration of your video will give your viewers the extra push they need to interact and investigate your product.

This can easily be done in the images section. Here, you will find some default images which you can drag and drop onto your timeline to display over your video as it plays

Keeping a call-to-action over the duration of your video will remind the viewer that it is interactive.

Tip #4: Include a replay screen with a carousel of products

At the end of the timeline you will find the end screen tab. By adding a replay icon, this will encourage your viewer to watch again!

You can also add a product carousel which will display at the end of your video. Your viewer will be able to browse the products displayed in the video, giving them that extra reminder to explore them further.

Just click the tab to enable the carousel and choose how many products you want to display.

Tip #5: Include a vertical video for mobile optimisation

You can optimise your viewer's interactive experience by adding an additional vertical video. This can be easily done in the video upload tab. You can drag and drop one or upload it from your files. This is a simple way of ensuring that your viewer's video experience is the best it can be no matter what device they are on.
