How to tag your video so your viewer can easily click product tags

At the bottom of your screen you will find the timeline. Here, you can drag and drop any product or group onto the timeline to create a clickable area (hotspot). The group will become a tag on the timeline or in the video preview screen. In the video preview screen you can manipulate the tag box to cover a large area of your video for viewers to easily click. On the timeline you can choose how long the tag will last and which frames of the video it will cover. This could be for a few frames or for the entire video.

Add image cues to notify your customer to click tags throughout the video

You can add visual cues in the 'Images' tab of the editor. Here, you will find some default images ranging from a pointer image to 'click to explore' call to action. You can add your own by clicking the + icon. Like group tagging, you can drag and drop these images onto the timeline, resize, and choose how much of the video you'd like them to be displayed on.

Editing your hotspots by clicking the video preview

You can edit your tag settings by clicking the video preview screen. This will show your product tag and your image tag.

Simply drag the tags around the video preview area to move them, or resize by dragging the edges. Click the pencil to enter a custom size and position. Click the square to create a full screen tag. Align horizontally or vertically using the buttons with arrows.

Adjusting the timeline to suit your video and tags

You can adjust your hotspots by dragging them along the timeline. However, you can make this much easier and precise by using the zoom bar. This is located at the top left of the timeline next to the blue magnet symbol. You can drag the circle button across to zoom in and out to accurately line up your tags to show at specific times as your video plays. By pressing the magnet icon you can snap all your tags into place so that they line up with each other.
