How is a Smartzer project embedded on a website?

Smartzer players are embedded in the same way you would embed a YouTube or Vimeo video - through an iFrame embed code. If further integration is required then we also require some custom scripts to run on your website. For full details, see here.

Can the shoppable videos be posted on Youtube/Vimeo?

No, Smartzer players cannot be on YouTube/Vimeo as these platforms do not allow third-party players.

Can you share the videos on Facebook?

Smartzer's shoppable video player can be linked to Facebook Ads, where an image/video-based advert on Facebook can trigger the opening of the full shoppable video within the Facebook browser in their app. The player can also be launched via a link organically.

Can you share the videos on Instagram?

Smartzer's shoppable video player can be linked to Instagram Ads, where an image/video-based advert on Instagram can trigger the opening of the full shoppable video within the Instagram browser in their app. Smartzer's shoppable video player can also be linked to an Instagram story where the shoppable video player opens in full screen as the user 'swipes up' on a story.

Can you share the videos on Snapchat?

Smartzer's shoppable video player can be linked to Snapchat Ads, where an image/video-based advert on Snapchat can trigger the opening of the full shoppable video within the Snapchat browser in their app. Smartzer's shoppable video player can also be linked to a Snapchat story where the shoppable video player opens in full screen as the user 'swipes up' on a story.

Can you share the videos on Twitter?

Smartzer's shoppable video player can be attached to a tweet as a hyperlink in a similar way to how you would promote any webpage.

Can you embed videos in an email?

Unfortunately, we cannot embed our video player in an email because not all email clients would support video playback within the email. We want to ensure a consistent experience for all consumers. However, you can include a link and an image that will simply direct the reader through to the shoppable video player.

Can the video be distributed within Ad Units?

Yes, the player can be distributed within ad units by running it through a DSP as a VPAID Tag.

Can you embed the shoppable videos within a native app?

Yes, you can embed an interactive video within an iOS or Andriod app using a 'webview'. See details for this here.

Where can the video be distributed?

Our shoppable video can be distributed across websites, social media channels, as a VPAID tag and in APP.

Can I remove the Smartzer player domain on an Instagram browser search bar?

You can change this by embedding the player full screen on your empty page and then attach a link to that page.
