Standard Livestream Analytics Dashboard πŸ“Š

Our new livestream analytics dashboard gives you a more detailed overview of your audience engagement and how they had engaged throughout the course of your live show.

In order to access this specific analytics dashboard log into Smartzer > Click on the three dots of the desired live stream project > Select 'View analytics Beta'.

Note: In case you can not see this please contact your Account Manager.

In case you see the following message when you click 'View analytics Beta', that would mean you first need to export the stream to see its analytics. You can find here a step-by-step guide on how to export a live stream.

After clicking 'View analytics Beta' an interface like this will show up. You can see here a Viewers, Social, and Clicks graphic, as well as a breakdown of the products and their click-through rate. Click on the drop-down button in the right corner to select the desired live stream export.

Viewers: You can see the number of viewers throughout the live stream as well as a graphic of the user drop-off. By hovering on the graphic you can see the exact number of users at an exact second and see what was happening on your live stream at that moment. See the screenshot below.

Below "Viewers", you can see the Average View Time, Engagement Rate, Social Engagement, and CTR (Click-Through Rate). You can hover over the 'i' to find out the definition of it.

Social: Hover over any of the two graphic lines to see the number of comments and reactions. You can also uncheck the boxes if any of the data is irrelevant.

Clicks: Hover over the graphic lines to see the number of clicks and the CTR (Click-Through Rate). Clicks being to any of the elements of the live stream. CTR being clicks made to either the product display page or the add to cart button.

Finally, you can see a breakdown of the products featured on the live stream and their total Clicks and CTRs.

Data points available For Livestream Analytics

During the live event you will be able to see concurrent viewers.

Approximately 3 hours after the live event, we can provide the following data points:

Views - Total number of views of the event. You will also be able to see an overall average view time for the event, as well as a views graph, showing how the number of viewers changed throughout the event.

Engagement - broken down the different engagement metrics below.

  • Overall engagement rate - percentage of viewers who engaged with the event. An engagement is recorded as any viewer who clicks on any of the interactive elements (featured products, product carousel, comments, reactions, CTAs etc).

  • Social engagement - the percentage of viewers who engaged socially (commented or reacted).

  • Total clicks - this can be broken down by where the clicks occurred (featured products, product carousel, comments, reactions etc, CTAs etc). Note that this more detailed breakdown may take up to 24hrs to show, but the overall metrics are available within 3 hours.

  • Product clicks - you will be able to see how many times each product pop-up was opened. After 24hrs, a more detailed breakdown of where these clicks came from (featured product, carousel or replayscreen) will become available.

  • Click through rate (CTR). The percentage of viewers who clicked a CTA in a product pop-up, or clicked on a product on the replayscreen (this directs the viewer to that product page). You will be able to see how many times the CTA of each product was clicked here also.

Social clicks and product clicks will also show as a graph of when the events occurred during the live event. The image below shows an overview of our analytics dashboard so that you can see how the main metrics appear in our analytics area.
