1. Create a new video project

To start building your first video, click on the 'CREATE A PROJECT' button. Simply name your project and click CREATE PROJECT.

You will now be able to start building your video.

2. Upload video asset(s)

Firstly, you should upload the video file that you wish to use (max file size = 3 GB). You can upload three different video formats, vertical (9:16), horizontal (16:9), and square (1:1).

Please note this video file will need to be already edited with the different paths the user will be able to choose. You can merge different videos and make edits in free apps such as Clipchamp.

In order to upload your video, click the drop-down arrow next to 'ALTERNATIVE VIDEO SOURCES' to reveal all format upload sections. Here, you can either drag and drop a video file directly onto the equivalent size upload area or click on the area to browse your files and select the video you would like to use.

Once your video has been uploaded you will see it appear in your video list.

Tip: it is not essential to upload a square version of your video, as long as you have landscape and portrait formats.

3. Edit your Splashscreen

You can scroll down in the video upload area to set the Splash Screen. This is the first screen that the viewers will see before they click play. Click the pen to edit.

This will bring up the splashscreen edit screen. Here you can click to upload or drag and drop images for your first screen.

By selecting the 16.9 landscape size from the drop-down on the top right-hand side of the screen, you can assign a landscape image to the desktop version of your video’s splash screen.

By selecting the 9:16 vertical size from the drop-down on the top right-hand side of the screen you can assign your video a portrait image for the splash screen. By choosing the 1:1 you can add a square image.

Tip: It is not essential to upload a square screen image if you don’t have a square video uploaded.

4. Edit your Endscreen

In the video upload section, you can also upload an End Screen. This is the last image the viewer will see once the video has ended. Click the pen icon next to the End Screen to edit.

This will bring up the End Screen edit section. Here, you can drag and drop or click to upload an image for the End Screen.

Click the 16:9 desktop from the drop-down in the top right-hand side of the page to assign a landscape image.

Click the 9:16 portrait option from the drop-down on the top right-hand side of the page to assign a vertical image for mobile viewing.

Click the 1:1 option to assign a square image to the end screen for square screens.

Tip: Please note it is not essential to upload a square image if you do not have a square video uploaded.

You can also enable the Custom URL CTA. This will add a button on the end screen and redirect users to a specific URL.

5. Add CTA Tag images

CTA Tag images are visuals you can add to the video to notify the viewer they can interact with it. To add your custom CTA Tag images, go to the 'Images' section of the editor using the navigation panel on the left-hand side.

Here you will see that we have added a few stock options for you to use, however, feel free to add custom images to your project by clicking the '+' icon on the top right of the image list.

To add an image to your video, drag and drop it onto the video preview on the right-hand side of the timeline.

Tip: Click the star on the images to set it as a default visual cue when tagging your video with products and groups.

6. Branch your Video

In order to branch your video, you can simply go to 'Hotspots' in the editor and drag and drop the 'Jump to Video Tag' action onto the timeline.

Once you drop the Tag Action onto the video or timeline your tag will appear on both the video preview area and the timeline. You can do three things with the Hotspot:

  1. Use the video preview area to edit the desired clickable area on the video.

  2. Decide for how long you wish Tag to be active for.

  3. Edit by dragging the <> element throughout the timeline where you want the Tag to take the user.

Tip: For longer videos zoom into the timeline using the slider on the top left of the timeline to more accurately set the duration of the hotspot.

To delete a hotspot you can click on the Tag and the Trash icon. Alternatively, you can also use the backspace function on your keyboard after selecting the hotspot

You can click here to play around with the functionality and familiarize yourself with it.

7. Save, publish & share your video

Once you are happy with your changes, click the SAVE icon on the top right of the editor to save your project. Saving will save your progress within the editor. If the project were to be embedded on a site, you would need to click 'Publish' in order to see the changes pulling through.

To share the video to your storefront click the SHARE icon on the top right of the editor.
