Quick Answer
If you enable client rescheduling, customers can move their appointment directly from the confirmation page.
To enable it:
Turn on Allow clients to modify their appointment
Once enabled, a Reschedule button will appear on the confirmation page so clients can choose a new time.
You can also disable rescheduling for specific appointment types if needed.
How to Enable Rescheduling
1. Set up your Booking Page
Go to Settings → Booking Page and configure your appointment types and availability.
If your Booking Page has not been set up yet, you’ll see a prompt in Appointment Confirmation settings asking you to configure it first.
2. Enable client rescheduling
Once your Booking Page is configured, enable the option that allows clients to modify or reschedule their appointment.
After this setting is enabled:
A Reschedule button appears on the confirmation page
Clients can select a new available time
The appointment updates automatically
Disable Rescheduling for Specific Appointment Types
Even if rescheduling is enabled app-wide, you can turn it off for individual appointment types.
To disable rescheduling for an appointment type:
Go to Settings → Templates
Select Edit Appointment Type
Toggle off Allow Customers to Reschedule
When this option is disabled, clients will not be able to reschedule that appointment type.
How Rescheduling Works
Booked Appointments
For appointments booked through your Booking Page:
Clients can move their appointment to another available time
The appointment type cannot be changed
Google Calendar Events
If the appointment was created directly in Google Calendar:
Clients may be able to select an available appointment type
The calendar event will be updated to match the new booking
The event duration may adjust to match the selected appointment type
If Rescheduling Is Disabled
If your Booking Page is set up but rescheduling is not enabled, you’ll see this prompt in settings:
Give clients the option to reschedule appointments from your confirmation page. Click here to enable rescheduling for your Booking Page.
💡 Tip: Allowing clients to reschedule instead of cancel helps reduce no-shows and keeps your calendar full.
