Note: Immediate feedback to participants is available exclusively with question-type Cues™, including Yes or No, Multiple Choice, Rating, and Ranking Cues™, upon their response.

Quiz versus Poll

Only question-type Cues™ can be set as quizzes or polls. Quiz questions assess knowledge with right or wrong answers and provide educational feedback, while poll questions gather opinions or preferences without right or wrong answers, showcasing collective trends. The Quiz option is selected by default.

Offer feedback to your participants

Feedback can be toggled on in the Feedback section of the Cue™ settings should you wish to engage participants with immediate feedback upon their response. This is a great way to offer a reward through peer comparison.

To make use of the Feedback function:

  1. Select the Cue™ on the timeline

  2. In the Cue™ pane on the left-hand side, select the Feedback dropdown option

  3. Toggle Show Feedback on

    1. Optional: Select the Eye icon to view a preview of the default feedback on the canvas

  4. Select the Edit Feedback button

Note: Depending on whether the Cue™ is set up as a Quiz or a Poll, the following Feedback Details screen will change.

  1. The Feedback Details window appears

    1. Edit the default feedback per answer option

    2. Optional: If the Cue™ is set up as a Quiz, select whether the answers are incorrect or correct by selecting the cross or tick icons

  2. Select the Save button
