Note: Immediate feedback to participants is available exclusively with question-type Cues™, including Yes or No, Multiple Choice, Rating, and Ranking Cues™, upon their response.
Quiz versus Poll
Only question-type Cues™ can be set as quizzes or polls. Quiz questions assess knowledge with right or wrong answers and provide educational feedback, while poll questions gather opinions or preferences without right or wrong answers, showcasing collective trends. The Quiz option is selected by default.
Offer feedback to your participants
Feedback can be toggled on in the Feedback section of the Cue™ settings should you wish to engage participants with immediate feedback upon their response. This is a great way to offer a reward through peer comparison.
To make use of the Feedback function:
Select the Cue™ on the timeline
In the Cue™ pane on the left-hand side, select the Feedback dropdown option
Toggle Show Feedback on
Optional: Select the Eye icon to view a preview of the default feedback on the canvas
Select the Edit Feedback button
Note: Depending on whether the Cue™ is set up as a Quiz or a Poll, the following Feedback Details screen will change.
The Feedback Details window appears
Edit the default feedback per answer option
Optional: If the Cue™ is set up as a Quiz, select whether the answers are incorrect or correct by selecting the cross or tick icons
Select the Save button
