Add a new Subject series that doesn't exist in database

Updated over a week ago

The "Add Subject Series" tool should only be used when a camera card was not used and the Subject you're adding doesn't exist in the Project database (if it does, use the "Move Series" tool). If you used a camera card but the card was not read properly β€” use the "Fix Mis-Scan" tool. Don't use this tool if the Subject exists in the database β€” use the "Add EXISTING Subject or Group Series" tool.

The "Add Subject Series" tool will create a new series that you can manually drop photos into and then add data. Here's how to do it:

1. Select the "Add Subject Series" tool.

2. Enter Subject information. Grade and/or Teacher name must match the uploaded CSV data for the Project or the subject will not be connected to the correct class photo.

3. Locate the newly created code by entering your Subject's name or "new series" in the search box. Once located, you can now add subject images using the drop zone. The data can also be edited later by double-clicking the data area above each photo series.

4. You're done!

5. Use the "Add Subject Series" tool inside the Subject gallery if you have photos in an existing gallery to move into a new series. This option lets you move the photos at the same time the new series is created.

6. Enter Subject information. Grade and/or Teacher name must match the uploaded CSV data for the Project or the subject will not be connected to the correct class photo.

7. You're done!
