Step 1.

Log into your Shopify store


Step 2.

On the left side Shopify menu click 'Sales Channels'.

Clicking this will prompt a dropdown of all Sales Channels to appear.


Step 3.

Click on 'Facebook & Instagram'

Then click 'Settings'


Step 4.

Scroll down to Share Data and confirm it is set to 'Maximum'.

If it's not, click 'Change', connect your Facebook account when prompted and change the data sharing setting to 'Maximum'.


Step 5.

Confirm your Pixel is connected here.

If your Pixel isn't already connected, you will see your Pixels and you want to connect with your active Pixel. Then click 'Connect'. If the correct pixel is not connected, click 'Change'.


Step 6.

Compare your Pixel ID from Shopify and Meta Business Portfolio and make sure they match.

Your pixel can be found in your Meta Business Portfolio by going to:

  • business.facebook.com/settings

  • Select 'Data Sources'

  • Select 'Datasets & pixels'

  • Click on your pixel
