Reach for Support

You can't do it alone

Reach for Support
Quitting drugs or alcohol can feel overwhelming, and for many, it’s harder to do alone. The good news is you don’t have to. If you’re struggling to stick to your goals or just want extra guidance, there are many ways to find support.

  • Talk to a healthcare professional. If you feel comfortable, share your challenges with your primary doctor. You can also connect with a therapist if that feels like a better starting point.

  • Explore support groups. Local 12-step programs like Alcoholics Anonymous or SMART Recovery can provide structure and encouragement. Online groups are also a great way to connect if in-person meetings aren’t accessible.

  • Lean on your circle. Friends, family, and loved ones can help you stay motivated, create a supportive environment, and remove unnecessary temptations.

You don’t have to go through this alone—reaching out for support can make all the difference.
