The answers to happiness are often simple, yet we struggle to see them. We convince ourselves that happiness is complex, a prize hidden behind endless achievement, accumulation, or approval. Believing it to be complicated, we lead tangled lives, chasing illusions and constructing obstacles in the very pursuit of what is within reach. True contentment arises not from adding more, but from noticing and appreciating the simple truths already present—gratitude, presence, connection, and self-acceptance. The irony is that in our quest for complexity, we often overlook the simplicity that was the answer all along. - Charles E. O'Neal II
