Marijuana Anonymous is a Twelve Step fellowship for people who want to stop using marijuana or cannabis. It provides a supportive environment for people who feel their cannabis use has become difficult to control or is negatively affecting their lives. The program adapts the Twelve Steps to recovery from marijuana-related problems.
Members share experiences, discuss challenges, and support one another in making changes that sustain recovery. Meetings may help people explore patterns of use, work through cravings, and develop healthier ways of responding to stress or difficult emotions. Members can also work with sponsors and build a community of people who understand their experiences.
