Dual Recovery Anonymous (DRA)

Website: draonline.org

Dual Recovery Anonymous is a Twelve Step fellowship for people navigating both mental health challenges and substance use or chemical dependency. It recognizes that these experiences can overlap and that people may need support for both aspects of their lives. DRA provides a peer-based setting where members can discuss recovery without having to separate their emotional well-being from their substance use history.

Members share experiences, work through the Twelve Steps, and support one another in developing a more stable and fulfilling life. The fellowship can offer connection and encouragement alongside appropriate mental health care, substance use treatment, and medication management when needed. It is not a clinical service, but it can be part of a broader support network.
