Nar-Anon is a Twelve Step fellowship for family members and friends affected by someone else's drug addiction. It supports people who may experience worry, frustration, exhaustion, grief, or uncertainty while trying to help someone they care about. The program recognizes that a loved one's addiction can affect the well-being of the entire family or support network.
Through meetings and shared experience, members learn ways to care for themselves, establish boundaries, and respond to challenging situations. Nar-Anon does not require the person using drugs to attend or seek treatment. Members can find community with others who understand their experiences and work through the Twelve Steps at their own pace.
