Gamblers Anonymous is a Twelve Step fellowship for people who want to stop gambling and recover from gambling-related problems. It welcomes individuals who feel gambling has become difficult to control or is negatively affecting their finances, relationships, work, or emotional well-being. Members share their experiences and use the Twelve Steps as a framework for making changes.
Meetings offer opportunities to connect with people who understand the challenges of compulsive gambling. Members may work with sponsors, attend regularly, and support one another in maintaining their recovery. GA is a peer-support fellowship; people experiencing gambling-related financial or mental health difficulties may also benefit from professional counseling or other specialized services.
