Underearners Anonymous (UA)

Written by Heidi M

Underearners Anonymous is a Twelve Step fellowship for people who feel their behaviors or patterns are interfering with their ability to earn, pursue opportunities, or use their abilities effectively. Members may struggle with procrastination, undercharging for their work, avoiding career opportunities, or difficulty following through on professional goals. The fellowship offers a space to explore these patterns without reducing a person's worth to their income.

Members share experiences, work through the Twelve Steps, and support one another in taking practical actions toward their goals. The program encourages greater awareness of avoidance and self-defeating behaviors while developing accountability and consistency. UA is a peer-support community, not a financial or career counseling service, and members' goals will vary according to their circumstances.
