Introduction

  • Purpose: This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to manually complete or extend a challenge for an individual ambassador who faces blockers or requires assistance.

  • Context: Occasionally, ambassadors encounter challenges that prevent them from completing tasks on time. By manually completing or extending a challenge, you can ensure their progress is accurately reflected while keeping them engaged in your program.

Completing a Challenge Manually

  1. Access the Ambassador's Profile

    • Navigate to Ambassador Management Ambassador List in the Portal.

    • User the Filter to search for the ambassador by name or email.

    • Open the selected ambassador's profile.

  2. View Challenges

    • Within the ambassador's profile, click on View Challenges to access their challenge history.

  3. Complete the Challenge

    • Locate the challenge you want to complete from the list.

    • Click Complete Challenge next to the challenge name.

    • If required, upload media or provide a link for submission (depending on  the challenge type).

    • Click Submit to save the changes.

Extending a Challenge Deadline

  1. Locate the Challenge to Extend

    • Follow the steps from the "Completing a Challenge Manually" section to access the ambassador's profile.

    • Identify the challenge you want to extend and click Extend Challenge.

  2. Set New Expiration Date

    • In the pop-up window, set the desired new expiration date for the challenge.

    • Confirm the update to apply the extension for the ambassador only.

Best Practices/Tips

  • Use the Extend Challenge feature sparingly to maintain consistency across ambassador deadlines.

  • Ensure ambassadors are assigned to the correct segment to access relevant challenges.

  • Regularly review challenge deadlines to avoid unnecessary manual adjustments.

Troubleshooting: Why a Challenge Might Not Appear

If a challenge is missing for a specific ambassador, consider the following scenarios:

  1. The ambassador was not assigned the challenge

    • Cause: The ambassador was not part of the program during the challenge's active period.

    • Solution: Verify when the ambassador joined the program. Manually assign the challenge if necessary.

  2. The ambassador is not in the targeted segment

    • Cause: The ambassador does not belong to the segment targeted for the challenge.

    • Solution: Check the ambassador's profile to ensure they are in the correct segment.
