Introduction
- Purpose: This guide walks you through the process of creating and managing rewards in the SocialLadder Admin Portal. 
- Context: Rewards allow ambassadors to redeem points earned through challenges for prizes, experiences, or incentives. Engaging rewards help ambassadors stay motivated, increasing overall participation. 
How to Create Rewards
- Access SL Admin Portal 
- Click on Compensation → Rewards 
- Click the + CREATE button at the top-left corner to open the Reward Wizard. 
- On the Name page enter the information below and click 'Next'. 
- On the Description page enter the info: - Description - Add more information about the rewards. 
- Image - Upload an image to represent the reward visually on the dashboard. 
 
 
- On the Units page: - How many units would you like to make available for this rewards? - Specify the total number of units available for the Ambassador Program 
- How many units would you like each user to be able to claim? Select one of the following options depending on the reward item: - 1 unit per user 
- Unlimited units per user 
- Custom-defined units (ie., 3 / user) 
 
 
 
- On the Point & Cost page, define the point cost required to redeem the reward. - By spending points - Select this method if ambassadors must redeem points for this reward. 
- By completing a specific challenge or group of challenges - Select this option if you want them to claim the reward for completing a specific challenge. 
 
- Note: Points are equivalent to 1 penny for interval cost tracking only. Ambassadors won't see the 'cost'. 
 
 
- On Dates, Define key dates for reward visibility and redemption: 
- On Redemption page, select one of the following options for how ambassadors can redeem the reward: 
 
 - Option A: Automated Code Emailed - Send an automated code for external redemption (e.g., e-commerce site). 
- Instructions - Include redemption instructions and a direct link to the redemption page. 
- Important: This reward is managed outside of SocialLadder, so tracking must be handled externally. 
 
 
 - Option B: Automated Email to Fulfiller with Redeemer on Copy - Notify the fulfiller and ambassador via email. 
- Enter the fulfiller’s name and email address. 
 
 
 - Option C: Provide Instructions - Provide customized redemption instructions for the ambassador. 
- Optionally, send a copy of the redemption email to an admin. 
 
 
 - Option D: Convert to Currency - Convert points to cash with a defined conversion value. 
- Include payout instructions.

- On Advanced page, enter the options as bellow: - Segment - Choose which ambassador segments can view and claim the reward. 
- Campaign - Add the reward for a campaign for reporting purposes. 
- Group - Add the reward to a group in case you want ambassador to choose one reward out of a group of rewards. As soon as ambassadors select a specific reward of the group, the other rewards within the group will dissapear from ambassador view. 
 
 
 
- On the Finish page, review all reward details for accuracy. Choose one of the following: - Save and Publish: Makes the reward live upon the scheduled start date. 
- Save as Draft: Save the reward for later editing. 
 
- Click Submit to finalize.

- Offer rewards that resonate with ambassador interests and align with your brand identity. 
- Regularly update your reward catalog to maintain ambassador engagement. 
- Use clear, concise descriptions to avoid confusion during redemption.
