SocialLadder offers three payment methods to manage ambassador payouts:

  1. SocialLadder Payouts (Recommended)

    • Functionality: Fully integrated with SocialLadder.

    • Features: Provides streamlined payout processing and full support from SocialLadder.

    • Best for: Brands looking for the most seamless and controlled payment method.

  2. PayPal Integration

    • Functionality: Processes ambassador payouts externally through PayPal.

    • Features: SocialLadder transmits payment details, but PayPal handles the actual transaction.

    • Note: SocialLadder does not manage or resolve PayPal-related issues.

  3. Manual Payments

    • Functionality: Used for record-keeping when payments are processed outside the platform.

    • Features: Allows admins to track payouts, but does not handle actual transactions.

    • Details: Does not provide automated tracking, and brands must reconcile payments manually.

How to Set Up Payment Methods

  1. Access Payment Settings

    • Navigate to Settings Account Settings Payments/Payment Methods to open the payment setup page.

  2. Choose Your Payment Method
    Select the most suitable payment method based on your program’s needs:

    • SocialLadder Payouts: Full integration with the platform.

    • PayPal: Direct PayPal transactions via SocialLadder.

    • Manual Payments: Record-keeping for external payouts.

How to Create a Payment Batch

Follow these steps to generate and process ambassador payouts in bulk:

  1. Access Payment Batch Creation

    • Navigate to Compensation Payments Create.

    • Enter a name and description for easy identification.

  2. Apply Date Filters

    • Use the Filter option (top-right corner) to select a date range for ambassador's sales and commissions.

  3. Add Payments to the Batch

    • Select payouts under Add Payments.

    • The selected payments will move to the Review Batch tab

  4. Process Payments

    • In Review Batch, verify the listed payments.

    • Click Process Payment to finalize the batch.
