How to launch, customize, and grow your new ambassador Community hub using SocialLadder.

We’re proud to launch Community —This marks a major shift from task-focused workflows to a community-driven experience where connection, engagement, and belonging are at the core.

💡 Why it matters:

This new feature gives your ambassadors a space to:

  • Connect with each other in real-time

  • Engage in brand-driven conversations and activities

  • Feel part of something bigger than just tasks or transactions

📱 Best bonus ever?

These great new gestures are part of the ambassador portal that can now be accessed not just through a web browser on mobile or desktop, but also on a dedicated Community App. This way, ambassadors can stay active and inspired from anywhere.

Now, let’s dive into how you can strategically set up and scale your brand’s Community hub.


🔧 Step 1: Plan the Structure & Purpose of Your Rooms

You can set up any number of rooms in your community with each room having the following customizations:

  • Room Name (30 characters)

  • Accessibility to everyone in the community or private to specific segments

  • Each room’s visibility dates- some rooms may be seasonal while others evergreen

  • Room notifications- Should notifications be mutable or compulsory for room posts?

  • Should ambassadors be allowed to make their own posts in the room or only respond to the admin’s posts? In some rooms you will want to keep the focus on the admin’s posts!

  • Each room should serve a specific purpose. Start by defining your community goals (e.g., engagement, learning, content sharing) and match them with the right room types.

To give your ambassadors the best possible experience—and keep them plugged into your community—encourage them to download the SocialLadder Community App. With the app, they’ll receive real-time push notifications for new posts, replies, and updates in their rooms, helping boost engagement and keeping your brand top of mind.

The prompt for ambassadors to download the app will show up throughout the ambassador portal as they use it, however, we recommend making an additional push for your ambassadors to download the app.

How to encourage downloads:
