Non-Single Sign On experience is the best option for brands that meet the following criteria:

  • Your website does not have a concept of a login

  • Your target ambassador most likely will not already have a login on your website

  • You do not have access to an experience web developer who can help install the experience onto your website

Onboarding Flow:

The ambassador can be categorized into 2 ways i.e. New user and Migrated user. Both users observe a different kind of flow when signing up with their ambassador application.

New User:

First, you will need to make sure you have the required applications for your area set up properly. Once you have sent the links to your application to your prospective ambassadors, they will be required to fill out the application and submit it for approval. Brand accepts application and sends acceptance email to user. Ambassadors click on the link and choose a password. Ambassadors receive a welcome email and have access to dashboard.

Migrated User:

If you previously had a website or were using a different brand ambassador management platform for your business, it's important to make sure that your ambassador information is carried over to your new site as well as with SocialLadder. Understanding how this flow works is important for the smooth transition of your users.

For existing ambassadors in your system that we are migrating over to SocialLadder, First the brand does applicant setup on SocialLadder. Then we search for their information on their site. If we cannot find them, we send an email to login to the site, where they can configure their account using migrated user application. User completes the application and is redirected to a new page to choose a password. User receives a welcome email with link to login and access dashboard.

High level install:

Firstly, It's up to the company's discretion on where they would like the users to view this login page to sign up as an ambassador. Few examples where it could placed are below:

After this is decided, We need to install the application on that page. Guide is linked below.

Secondly, The company should also decide how the users access the dashboard. There are few flows where the dashboard is located in the user login menu and also flows where they are located in a completely different page. Please find the screenshot below for reference.
