We are excited to announce the release of a powerful new feature in our product: the Conversion Dashboard.

You'll see a new option on your menu to access the Conversion Dashboard

This tool provides an in-depth look at your conversion data, offering key performance indicators (KPIs) and detailed transaction information. With advanced filtering and export options, this dashboard is not only a window into your data but also a practical tool for data conciliation and analysis.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

To deliver relevant insights about your conversions, we are introducing KPI charts that provide a visual summary of your program's performance, including daily averages and trend lines, that show details as you hover them.

Since our conversion system tracks both monetary and non-monetary transactions, such as sales and app downloads, we offer different ways to display this information on the screen.

Monetary connectors will have the following KPIs:

  • Conversion Amount: The total value of conversions.

  • Total Conversions: The total number of conversions.

  • Conversion Units: The total number of product units sold.

  • Compensation: The commission earned by ambassadors from conversions.

  • Conversions Over the Period: Trends in conversions over a specified timeframe.

  • Top Ambassadors: Ambassadors with the most referrals.

  • Top SKUs: Products with the highest number of conversions.

    • Displayed only if conversions occur through Shopify sales.

Non-Monetary KPIs:

  • Total Conversions: The total number of conversions.

  • Compensation: The commission earned by ambassadors from conversions.

  • Conversions Over the Period: Trends in conversions over a specified timeframe.

  • Top Ambassadors: Ambassadors with the most referrals.

Detailed Conversion List

The Conversion Dashboard provides a detailed datatable displaying specific information about each conversion. By default, items are collapsed but they'll show further details when you click upon them:

  • Order ID: Identifier for each order within the platform you're integrating with.

  • Global Order ID:

    • Displayed only for conversions occurring through Shopify sales.

    • If you manage multiple Shopify stores, you might have orders with the same ID (e.g., 1234) in different stores. However, the Global Order ID is a unique identifier across all Shopify stores, ensuring that each order has a distinct ID.

  • Promocode: The discount code used in the conversion. This could be a unique code shared by an ambassador (e.g., JOHN10) or a general discount code offered by your platform (e.g., BLACKFRIDAY).

  • Ambassador: Includes email and name of the ambassador associated with the conversion.

    • It will be empty if the transaction isn't attributed to an ambassador.

  • Compensation: The commission earned from the conversion.

  • Compensation ID: The identifier of the compensation within SocialLadder.

  • Attribution Method: How the transaction was tracked and attributed within our platform. The possible options are:

    • Pixel - Link: Using the Pixel integration where the referral utilized the link shared by the ambassador.

    • Pixel - Code: Using the Pixel integration where the referral used only the code shared by the ambassador.

    • SL API - Conversion: Using the SocialLadder Conversion API.

    • SL API - Ambassador: Using the SocialLadder Ambassador API.

    • Bulk Import: Through the bulk import conversions functionality. In this case, we'll show the name of the person who manually did it.

    • Manually by Portal Admin: Through the "Add Sales" option in the ambassador profile. In this case, we'll show the name of the person who manually did it.

    • Shopify API: Using the Shopify integration.

  • Dates Related to the Conversion:

    • Order date: when the transaction happened in the platform you're integrating with.

    • Attribution date: the date the conversion was attributed to the ambassador.

    • Compensation date: the date SocialLadder calculated the compensation for the ambassador. It will be different than the attribution date when your program is using delayed attribution. In this case, it will be the date the transaction came into SocialLadder.

  • Total: The monetary value of the conversion.

  • Details of the Converted Person: Includes the email and name of the individual who made the conversion.

Advanced Filtering and Future Actions

One of the key features of this functionality is the ability to find specific items using our robust filtering mechanism. You can save these filters for repeated use.

Date Filter

The first filter component is the date filter, which allows you to select from our quick options (this month, quarter, or year) or inform a custom date range to search for items within a specific timeframe.

It's important to note that our quick options consider the beginning of the period (month, quarter, year) up to today. For example, if you select "this month" and today is the 7th, we'll show items from the 1st to the 7th.

Custom date hacks:

  1. If you leave the start date empty and only fill out the end date, we'll show all transactions from the beginning of your tracking until the specified end date.

  2. Conversely, if you fill in only the start date, we'll show all transactions from that start date up to today.

Search Bar and Advanced Filters

Our search bar and advanced filters combined provide powerful tools to find exactly what you need.

Using the search bar, you can enter specific IDs or user names (ambassador or converted person) to perform your search quickly and efficiently.

In the advanced filters section, you have several options related to transactions and ambassadors:

  • Presets: These are filters you previously saved. You can create and save as many presets as you need, attached to your profile for easy and quick access to frequently searched data.

  • Show Unattributed Items: This filter allows you to see transactions that are not linked to any ambassadors.

  • Segments: Filter transactions by ambassador segments.

  • Show Only Active Ambassadors: This filter works when viewing items attributed to ambassadors, displaying only those associated with active ambassadors in your program.

  • You can add zero or multiple advanced clauses to refine your search further:

    • Each clause consists of a field, an operator, and a value. For example, you can search for transactions where the total amount (field) is greater than or equal to (operator) $100 (value).

    • As you add more clauses, an "AND" operator is inserted between them. You can switch this operator between "AND" and "OR" by clicking on it.

When you hit "Apply Filters," all specified filters will be applied. If you want to save your filter or edit an existing one, you can click on the arrow on the right side of this button.

Finally, you can customize which charts are displayed on the screen and save these preferences to your profile.

Export Options

To further facilitate data analysis and reporting, the Conversion Dashboard includes export options:

  • CSV Export: Download the entire filtered list of transactions for offline analysis.

  • PDF Export: Export the charts and datatable as they appear in the UI, perfect for presentations and reports.

With the new Conversion Dashboard, marketing teams can gain deeper insights into their conversion data, track performance, and make data-driven decisions more effectively. We are committed to continuously enhancing this tool to provide even more value and functionality in the future.
