If you're experiencing issues connecting your Instagram account to SocialTalk, don’t worry, here’s a step-by-step guide to help you solve it quickly.
Check Your Facebook Permissions
Since Instagram accounts (especially Business or Creator accounts) are managed through Facebook, it's important to ensure the correct permissions are granted.
Log in to your Facebook account.
Click on your profile picture in the top right corner.
Select “Settings & privacy”, then click on “Settings”.
On the left menu, scroll down to “Your activity and permissions” and click on “Business integrations”.
Now, let's review permissions for SocialTalk
In the Business integrations section, locate the SocialTalk app.
Click “View and edit”.
Make sure all permissions are enabled, including access to Instagram accounts and related pages.
Click “Save”.
Once done, head back to https://creators.socialtalk.io/ and try reconnecting your Instagram account.
Still Not Working? Try Removing and Reconnecting
If adjusting permissions didn’t work, try removing and reconnecting the SocialTalk app:
In the Business integrations section, find SocialTalk.
Click “Remove”.
Confirm by clicking “Remove” again when prompted.
Go to https://creators.socialtalk.io/ and restart the connection process.
