You can connect a brand-new TikTok account to Soco as long as it's a Personal (Creator) account and you turn on every TikTok permission Soco asks for. What you can sell through it is decided by TikTok, not by Soco.
What your TikTok account needs before Soco works
Soco works with Personal (Creator) TikTok accounts only, and it needs every TikTok permission turned on. A Business account doesn't work. If yours is set to Business, the steps to change it are in How to switch your TikTok account between Personal (Creator) and Business.
Whether you need followers or a TikTok Shop to use Soco
Soco doesn't ask for a follower count, an account age or a sales history of its own. Earning a commission on a product does depend on your TikTok Shop affiliate access, and TikTok sets those rules, not Soco.
TikTok asks for at least 1,000 followers, an age of 18 or over, a United States base, and identity verification passed. TikTok's own page carries the full list and is the one to trust if it changes: who can join TikTok Shop's affiliate programme
Connect your new TikTok account to Soco
To connect the account:
Open the Soco app.
Tap the account icon in the top right of the Home screen.
Find Continue with TikTok on that screen and tap it.
Authorize Soco in TikTok, leaving every permission toggle on.
Your TikTok account then shows as connected on that screen. If a permission is off, any feature that reads TikTok data stays unavailable until you turn it on.
Leave every TikTok permission on. Soco can't scan your showcase or find higher-commission links for you with one switched off.
What to do first once your TikTok account is connected to Soco
Once your account is connected, scan your showcase so Soco can find higher-commission links for products you already sell. The walkthrough runs from downloading the app to using the Viral Video Finder: Step 4: Scan showcase for higher commissions. Soco Free costs nothing and gives you every higher-commission link Soco has: What's the difference between Soco Free and Soco Pro?
