What is Sohnne’s return policy?
We offer a generous 365-day return policy so you can try our furniture in your space with complete peace of mind. You have up to 365 days from the delivery date to submit a return request, provided your item meets our return eligibility conditions.

What are the return eligibility requirements?

To qualify for a return, the item must:

  • Be new, unused, and in original packaging

  • Be returned within 7 days of receiving your Return Authorization (RA) number

  • Include all original packaging materials (box, foam, wrap, etc.)

Items not eligible for return include:

  • Used, scratched, stained, assembled, or damaged products

  • Items without original packaging

  • Returns missing required documentation

What documentation do I need to submit a return?

To ensure a smooth return process, we require:

  • An unboxing video recorded at the time of delivery (mandatory for any damage/missing parts claims)

  • Current photos of the product showing its present condition

  • Proof of purchase, such as your order confirmation or invoice

  • Shipping confirmation (if available)

We may deny claims related to product damage or missing items without an unboxing video.

When will I receive my refund?

Once we receive your complete documentation and the product has been returned:

  • Your return will be inspected and reviewed

  • This process may take up to 30 hours

  • After approval, we’ll notify you and begin the refund process

What does the refund cover?

Your refund will include:

  • The item subtotal (minus any restocking fee if applicable)

  • The sales tax applied to the item only

Your refund will not include:

  • Original delivery shipping fees

  • Return shipping costs

  • Sales tax applied to shipping

Can I see an example of how the refund is calculated?

Yes! Here’s a sample scenario for a return after 14 days of delivery:

Are shipping fees refundable?
No, all shipping fees are non-refundable. This includes:

  • Original shipping charges

  • Return shipping costs

  • Shipping-related taxes or duties

Your refund does not include the actual carrier charges, even if you used a free shipping promotion.

Who pays for return shipping?

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. These fees will be deducted from your refund. While we subsidize part of the cost to keep it affordable, return shipping remains a customer-initiated service.

How should I return the product?

Please return the item:

  • In its original packaging, including all protective materials

  • With all necessary documentation (unboxing video, photos, proof of purchase)

Returns that do not meet packaging requirements may be declined or incur additional fees.

What if my packaging is damaged upon delivery?

If your package arrives damaged:

  • Do not accept the delivery

  • Mark it as “damaged” with the carrier

  • Contact us immediately with photos and details

Once a package is signed for, it is considered received in good condition, and no packaging claims can be processed after that.

What happens if I miss my delivery appointment?

If no one is available during the scheduled delivery:

  • The attempt will be marked unsuccessful

  • You will be charged a return fee and rescheduling cost

  • Missed deliveries are not grounds for cancellation or refund

We recommend planning ahead and ensuring someone is available during your confirmed delivery window.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, but the timing matters:

  • Within 12 hours of placing your order: Full refund

  • After 12 hours but before shipment processing: 5% processing fee deducted

  • After your item has shipped: Cancellation not possible. You must wait for delivery and then request a return.

Which orders are non-cancelable and non-returnable?

The following orders are final sale and not eligible for cancellation or return:

  • Custom and made-to-order products

  • Bulk orders of 5 or more items

These orders are produced specifically for you and require a special commitment during processing.
