How to Create & Submit a Bug Report

The following guide helps you create a Bug Report on your device.

Bug Reports help us better identify and fix issues.

Step 1: Enable Developer Mode

  1. Open Settings > System on your device

  2. Scroll to the bottom and select About phone

  3. Scroll down to Build number and tap it 5 times

  4. You will see a notification saying Developer mode is enabled

Step 2: Reproduce the issue you want to report

If possible, perform actions on Seeker that don't work or produce unexpected results. This ensures your Bug Report submission contains relevant logs.

Step 3: Generate the Bug Report

  1. Go to Settings > System > Developer options > Bug report

  2. Choose option Interactive report

  3. Tap the Report button at the bottom right

  4. The Bug Report will begin to generate. This will take a moment - do not try to take another report during this time

Step 4: Upload the Bug Report

  1. Once the report is finished, a bug icon will appear in your notifications

  2. Swipe down to see the notification: e.g., Bug report #1 captured

  3. Return to your support ticket or platform where the report should be submitted

  4. Click Upload files

  5. In the upload interface, select Bug Reports

  6. Choose the ZIP archive file named bugreport-seeker... with .zip extension

Tips

  • Make sure the device stays on while the report is generating

  • Do not attempt to take another report while one is in progress

  • Once you your issue has been resolved, turn off Developer mode by visiting Settings > System > Developer options and switch off Use developer options
