The Soma Full Stack
Updated yesterday

Mental fatigue doesn’t announce itself.

It creeps. Then it cracks. Then it costs your athlete their performance.

The Soma Full Stack was built to solve that.

Every athlete has a breaking point — but most coaches don’t know where it is, when it hits, or how to move it.

The Full Stack changes that.

It’s not just training. It’s a complete cognitive operating system — built to stress the brain, track the drift, and rewire resilience under pressure.

This is the flow:

You start with the right task (Cognitive Stack).

You decide when the brain gets hit (Integration Stack).

You control how long it runs (Duration Stack).

You track when performance starts to break (Monitoring Stack).

And you measure exactly how it fails (Data Stack).

The Stack turns chaos into control.

The Cognitive Stack

The Foundation of Mental Load

This is where the system starts: the task itself.

But not just any task — a scalable cognitive drill that gets harder over time.

The 4 Layers of Load:

THE CORE (The Task)

Simple or complex. Reaction-based or decision-based.

THE GRIND (The Duration)

The longer it runs, the deeper the depletion.

THE PRESSURE (The Intensity)

Speed + precision = chaos.

THE MULTIPLIER (The Mode)

Layered constraints that change the task under load.

This stack turns a drill into a system.

It evolves with the athlete — not against them.

The Integration Stack

Timing the Hit

Most cognitive training happens in isolation.

The Integration Stack changes that — by embedding mental load directly into the physical session.

4 Phases of Integration:

  • PRE-TRAINING — Burn the brain before the body

  • INTERMITTENT — Add brain load between sets

  • CONCURRENT — Body + brain, same time

  • POST-TRAINING — Drop cognition on top of physical fatigue

Each phase shifts what fatigue feels like — and what it builds.

The Duration Stack

Every Minute Adds Weight

How long a drill runs determines how deep the cost goes.

The Duration Stack gives you tiers of depletion — so you know exactly what you’re building.

The Monitoring Stack

Where Fatigue Hides, This Finds It.

You can’t see mental fatigue until it’s too late — unless you track it.

This stack gives you two tools to spot collapse as it happens:

PVT-B – The Subtle Collapse Detector

  • Catches drops in focus, variation, and lapses

  • Use pre- and post-session to track drift

  • Detects mental fatigue before athletes feel it

PFTT – The Threshold Finder

  • Shows when cognitive sharpness collapses under physical intensity

  • Pinpoints the exact second performance flips

  • Reveals the gap between physical ability and brain control

The Data Stack

Measure What Matters

At the top of the stack sits the output — the data.

This is how you verify progress, adapt training, and find patterns that no stopwatch can show you.

Cognitive Metrics:

  • Reaction Time

  • Speed (1000 / RT)

  • Accuracy

  • Variation

  • Rate Correct Score (RCS)

Physiological Metrics:

  • BPM

  • rMSSD

  • SDNN

Minute-on-Minute (MoM)

  • Track how fatigue builds within the task

  • Spot which metric collapses first

  • See how long athletes survive the load before slipping
