The Cognitive Load slider shows how demanding a task will be based on the settings selected. It updates automatically when you change the task type, duration, or intensity.
This guideline was developed in collaboration with Birmingham University to reflect the overall load created by a task's core parameters. As an example, Inverted Stroop is generally simpler than the Colour Shape task, which involves more rules and higher decision-making demands.
The Cognitive Load slider reflects the base task settings only. It does not factor in the selected training mode.
