Creating A Customized Training Plan

Step-by-Step Guide

Updated over a week ago

Designing a training plan can be daunting, especially for newcomers. This guide simplifies the process, offering a clear, step-by-step approach to creating a comprehensive and effective training plan.

Step One: Getting Started

Begin by selecting the plan builder from the main menu. This is your starting point for creating a new training plan.

Step Two: Naming Your Plan

After accessing the plan builder, name your training plan. This makes it easier to locate in the future. You have the option to save your plan as an individual plan or use an existing template. You can also tag your plan to categorize it as active or inactive.

Step Three: Naming Your First Session

Once your plan is named, it's time to name your first training session. A good practice is to name this initial session "Baseline." Subsequent sessions should also be appropriately named.

Next, define how often each session will be repeated. Choose a scale for assessing each session โ€“ either the Rating of Perceived Effort (RPE), Rating of Mental Fatigue (RMF), or Rating of Mental Effort (RME). These scales help users to report their exertion levels after each cognitive task.

If you want automatic calculation of baseline data, enable the auto baseline feature. For tracking cognitive and physiological responses throughout a task, turn on the MoM mode.

Step Four: Creating the Cognitive Training Session

The following step involves constructing the cognitive training session. Decide when to place the Cognitive Task (either before, during, or after the session), add a drill, and select the mode, intensity, and duration of the task.

Use the '+' button to add more sessions as needed.

Step Five: Assigning Users and Publishing Your Plan

Finally, assign individuals who will use the plan and set the time and date for the planโ€™s release. The default setting is the current time and date. This step ensures that the plan is accessible to users and that they can adhere to the schedule.

In conclusion, by following these steps, you can create a tailored and effective training plan that caters to your personal development goals.
