When you type your lyrics into Songspace, you probably take the time to format them so that they appear however you'd like on any links you send out, including line breaks, paragraph breaks, and the like.

You may have noticed that when you copy your lyrics and paste them into a word processor, the formatting you created on Songspace does not always carry over. This is because of the way certain word processors handle pasted text.

Each word processor handles pasted text differently - here are some support articles and/or tips that explain how you can paste text while retaining the original formatting.

Microsoft Word

Here is their support article that explains how you can paste text without losing the original formatting.

LibreOffice

Click Edit in the top menu of options and select Paste Unformatted Text.

Google Drive

Click Edit in the top menu of options and select Paste without formatting.

Apple Notes

Click Edit in the top menu of options and select Paste and Retain Style.
