In Soon, each event has a status to give you quick insights. There are 6 different states, these are:

  • Unpublished

  • Ready

  • Pending

  • Issue

  • Finished

  • Closed

A brief overview of the event life cycle:

During the event life cycle, there are several key moments to keep in mind.

  1. Publishing the event, before this, only admins can view the event. By publishing it, all information about the event will be shared with the users, and it will appear in their schedules.

  2. The "Issue" status alerts you to take action. This status may be triggered by a variety of reasons, such as a user requesting an event cancellation, an event invitation being declined, or the minimum required number of people for the event not being reached. You should go to the event details to find out what is causing it and solve the issue.

  3. When the end time has passed, the event will automatically be marked as "Finished". This is when you, as an admin, can review the actual hours, make any necessary adjustments, and close the event to indicate that it has been completed. Once it has the "Closed" status, open seats will no longer be available for registration, and the event can no longer be edited. However, you can always easily reopen the event if changes need to be made.
