Let’s dive in!
How to connect your calendar to Sortlist?
Start by heading to your Sortlist dashboard. Click on the drop-down menu in the bottom left corner of your screen, and select “Availability.” On your Calendar page, you’ll see the option to connect your existing calendars—Google, Outlook, or Apple.
Connecting your calendar is the best way to ensure all your meetings are centralized, helping you avoid overlapping bookings and stay organized.
We strongly encourage this option to maximize the benefits of Sortlist Calendar.
However, you also have the option to set up your availabilities manually, without connecting your calendar.
How to set up your availabilities?
If you prefer not to connect an external calendar, you can still set your working hours and time zone manually. If you choose this route, be sure to regularly update your availabilities to prevent any conflicts.
Once your availabilities are saved, clients will be able to easily book a meeting with you.
How will clients book a meeting with you?
After you apply to a client’s project, they’ll receive an invitation to review your application. If interested, they can confirm and book a meeting with you right away.
They’ll see only the available slots, ensuring there’s no risk of conflicting times, especially if you’ve connected your calendar as recommended.
Once they’ve chosen a slot, they’ll just need to fill in their information and confirm the meeting. Both you and the client will then receive a confirmation email, with all the meeting’s details:
Furthermore, a meeting event will be created in your calendar, provided you’ve synced it with Sortlist according to the steps detailed earlier in this article.
How will you be able to keep track of your meetings?
To make tracking your meetings even easier, the "Meetings" tab on your dashboard keeps everything in one place.
Just click on it to view all your scheduled meetings with prospects. If you’ve connected your calendar, each booking will also appear in your personal calendar automatically, so you stay organized and on top of your schedule.
What if you or the client can’t attend the meeting?
If you or the client needs to reschedule, it can be done in one click, and all changes will sync with your calendar, provided it’s connected. This ensures that your schedule always reflects the latest updates, minimizing confusion.
Once a reschedule request has been sent, the other party will then receive an email informing them that they need to pick a new slot for the meeting:
