SortScape can automatically add timestamps and location information to your job photos, saving you time and eliminating the need for separate photo editing apps.

What it does

When enabled, photos attached to jobs will display the following information in the bottom-right corner:

  • Date and time the photo was taken (extracted from the image metadata)

  • Property city/location

This branded version appears both when viewing photos on the job and when sending emails with photo attachments.

How to enable

  1. Go to the visit settings admin screen

  2. Enable the Include timestamps on images option

Things to know

  • Works with existing photos — You don't need to re-upload photos after enabling the feature. Timestamps will appear on all your existing job photos automatically.

  • Supported formats — Works with JPEG, PNG, HEIC, and GIF images.

  • Premium feature — Automatic timestamps are available on the Premium plan.

  • Uses original photo date — The timestamp shown is when the photo was actually taken (from the camera metadata), not when it was uploaded to SortScape. If no date information is available, it falls back to the upload date.

  • Preview before sending — You can see exactly how the branded photo will look by viewing it on the job before sending any emails.

FAQ

Will this change my original photos?
No. Your original photos are preserved. SortScape creates a branded copy that's used for display and emails.

Can I customize what text appears?
Currently the feature displays a fixed format with the timestamp, job title, and property address. Let us know if you'd like additional customization options.
