Missing airplay on an artist's profile

Three reasons may explain why tracklistings do not show a radio play you know happened.

Reason nยฐ1: Soundcharts does not track the station (yet)

We monitor thousands of radio stations in more than 70 countries worldwide.

Check the complete list here. There are many stations, but it doesn't mean we track all stations.

๐Ÿ‘‰ What can I do?

We add new radio stations monthly depending on user requests and internal research. You have one up to your sleeve. Please fill out this form for radio additions to Soundcharts (we tend to prioritize requests from paying users.)

Reason nยฐ2: The song was not out yet when the play happened

We can only track spins when the music is out in the stores and sent to platforms by the distributors. If the song is not released, we can't get its audio fingerprint and recognize that radios played it on air. More about this here.

๐Ÿ‘‰ What can I do?

If the song is not out yet, please fill out this form to connect the new release with Soundcharts. Note that we cannot trace back airplay historically, and we'll start monitoring plays from the day you fill out the form.

Reason nยฐ3: data issue

Whoops! Sometimes releases are not well connected to our data and the correct artist, but it's rare.

๐Ÿ‘‰ What can I do?

Contact us with the Spotify link of the track you're looking for and the timestamps of its plays with screenshots at help@soundcharts.com so that we can have a closer look into it.
