When reviewing an artist's charts section on Soundcharts, you need to start by defining the scope you'd like to review by defining:

  • a country

  • a platform (Spotify, Deezer, Apple Music, etc.)

  • song or album chart entries (album charts only exist for Apple Music, Deezer, and iTunes)

You can open the right panel by clicking on any entry from that table. This panel offers you complementary information - such as historical positions since it entered the chart, the songs that are before/after, etc.

The charts section allows you to track all chart entries for a certain artist. Here is how to read that table:

  • The "Rank" column is the current rank of the song in that chart. Also, it contains the rank evolution (current rank compared to the previous rank; red/green arrows, equal signs, "new" and "re" icon)

The top track is currently 6 ranks higher than its previous rank. It is now 26th on that chart but used to be 32nd in the last refresh.

  • The "R-1" column is the previous rank of that song in that chart

  • The "Peak" column is the best position the song has been on

  • The "Song" column is the name of the song. You can click on the song title to reach the song profile

  • The "Chart" column is the name of the chart the song is charting on

  • The "Peak date" column is the date that song was in the highest position in that chart

  • The "DoC/WoC" column corresponds to the number of days (DoC) or weeks (WoC) that song has been on that chart

Additional features include:

  • Export columns into a CSV file to incorporate them into your documents (what you choose to see on your dashboard is what you get in your CSV file);

  • Search for the name of a chart by clicking on the magnifying glass next to the chart column;

  • Sort by the rank, peak, or peak date by clicking on the arrows at the top of the table.

PS: Chart details work the same way for songs.

If you are not yet a customer and want to try it out, you can explore it for free on Tones and I's profile.
