How to handle booking requests you can’t accept

Sometimes unexpected events arise, and you might not be able to accept all the requests you receive. Don’t worry! Here’s how to handle it:

  • Decline the request within 48 hours. Your response rate will thank you. It’s one of the factors that help you become a Superhost and appear first in search results.

  • Decide whether to block the dates or keep them available for someone else to book.

  • Changed your mind? No problem. Simply ask the guest to send a new request, or surprise them with a special offer or an invitation to book.
