The status of your reservation lets you track the progress of your request.
Canceled
The reservation was canceled because the guest did not verify their identity within 12 hours, did not complete the payment within 24 hours, or it was canceled by you, the guest, the host, or SpacePal. Sometimes SpacePal cancels on behalf of a host or guest.
Confirmed
The reservation was accepted either by the host or automatically through Instant Booking. SpacePal processed the payment.
Invitation expired
The guest did not accept your invitation to book within 48 hours. They can still book but must send a new request.
Invitation sent
The host invited the guest to book with automatic confirmation. The guest has 48 hours to accept by selecting “Book Now.”
Offer expired
The guest received a special offer but did not accept it within 48 hours.
Past guest
The guest completed their reservation.
Request rejected
The host rejected the guest’s booking request, so no charges were made.
Request expired
The host or guest took more than 48 hours to accept or reject the request. If the guest is still interested, they need to send a new request.
Request withdrawn
The guest sent a booking request but later decided to cancel it.
Special offer sent
The host invited the guest to book with a different price than listed, often for a discount or additional fee. The guest has 24 hours to accept by selecting “Book Now,” and the booking is then confirmed automatically.
Booking rejected
The guest asked a question, and the host rejected it, meaning the guest cannot send a booking request. This might be due to a change in availability.
Inquiry
The guest asked about the space but has not yet sent a booking request. To maintain your response rate, respond within 24 hours, encouraging the guest to book, reject their inquiry, or send a special offer before the inquiry expires.
