How to send special offers

Special offers are a great way to expedite bookings or suggest convenient reservation details, such as prices, dates, or times.

How do they work?

When someone messages you before booking or sends a booking request, you can respond with a special offer that includes a personalized price. You can also suggest different dates or another one of your spaces. The guest has 48 hours to accept, and once they do, the reservation is automatically confirmed.

If the guest has already booked or requested your space, you can’t send a special offer but can change the reservation details to offer a discount.

Steps to send a special offer

  1. Click on Messages and open the guest’s message.

  2. Click on Special Offer.

  3. In Subtotal, enter the price you want to offer for the entire stay.

  4. Click Send Special Offer.

Keep in Mind:

  • The price should include all hours of the reservation.

  • Include any additional fees, like cleaning.

  • SpacePal may mark your calendar as unavailable if your account information is not up to date, so ensure everything is current.

We will notify the guest of the offer details and show the taxes and service fee as separate items.
