How to Pair Your Spacetalk Watch with the App

Congratulations on purchasing your new Spacetalk watch!

By now, you should have already created an account on the Spacetalk App. If you haven't done that yet, follow our Setting up your app guide first.

Once you have created an account, you can now pair your Spacetalk watch with the app. Make sure you have an Active SIM in your watch.

For applicable countries, if you need help activating your Spacetalk Mobile SIM, our guide can walk you through this.

Step 1: Open the Spacetalk App

To begin, open your Spacetalk app by clicking on the Spacetalk app icon on your phone.

Step 2: Tap on Your Initial or + Symbol

After opening the app, you should see a map page. Tap on your initial or the + symbol on the bottom left corner of the screen.

If you don’t see a map, you may need to log in. Make sure you use your Spacetalk app login, not the Spacetalk Mobile Web Portal password.

Step 3: Add a Family Member

'Your Family' window will pop up. Tap on the watch icon.

Step 4: Select your watch model

Select the model of your device.

If you have a Loop or Adventurer watch, DO NOT select ‘Pair original Spacetalk Kids watch’. This is for the original Kids model only.

Step 5: Continue with the pairing

If you have followed the Quick Start Guide, you would have already activated your SIM card from our Mobile Portal. You can tap ‘The watch is ready for pairing’.

If you are unsure if you have activated your Spacetalk SIM card, check if you have a Welcome email from ‘mobilesupport@spacetalk.co’ confirming activation.

Step 6: Add Watch Wearer's Details

Once you have made your selection, add the watch wearer's details.

You will be asked to select a profile picture or colour for the watch wearer. You can skip this and do it later by selecting ‘Not now’.

Step 7: Enter Watch Phone Number

Enter the phone number of the watch. This should be in the Welcome email from ‘mobilesupport@spacetalk.co’.

Step 8: Tap to Pair

Now go to your watch and press 'Tap to Pair'.

If you don't see ‘Tap to Pair’ on your watch, reset your watch by swiping down on the watch screen and press 'Settings' > ‘Factory Reset’ > and use the last 4 digits of the IMEI number as the password. If you have a new watch, you can find this on the side label of your box or you can press ‘Settings’ > ‘Information’ on the watch.

The watch will check for any software updates first. Once the update is complete, 'Tap to Pair' will reappear on your screen. Tap on this.

If you see ‘Scan with the Spacetalk App’ message, tap the centre of the watch screen again to have the QR code appear.

Step 9: Scan the QR Code

A QR code will appear on the watch screen. In the Spacetalk App, you can scan this QR code with your phone.

If you are getting an error, make sure you are in the app, not the camera, when scanning the QR code.

Step 9: Confirm Pairing

You will be asked to confirm the pairing of the watch to the app on both devices. Once you accept, your app will show the map screen and you will see ‘All Done’ on your watch.

Congratulations, you have successfully paired your Spacetalk watch with the app! You are now set and ready to use your Spacetalk watch.
