Chat
Chat is the function of messages being sent between the app and watch using mobile data or WiFi
SMS
SMS messages can be sent and received by the watch, using the credit available via the watch's SIM card. When sending SMS messages to the watch, you can use the normal SMS app on your phone - like you would send SMS messages to another mobile phone
How to Add Chat Contacts:
Step 1: Add the Chat Contact to your App
In your Spacetalk app, select 'Chat' at the bottom of the screen
Select the Address Book icon in the top-right corner
Select '+ Add Contact'
In the new pop-up, follow the steps to invite a new contact
Once the invitation has been accepted, you'll have a new chat contact on your app
Step 2: Add the Chat Contact to your Watch
From the map screen of your app, select the '+' icon in the bottom-left corner
Select your child's watch
Select 'More'
Find 'Connect' and select 'Chat Contacts'
Select '+ Add Contact'
Select the desired contact from the list and confirm
How to Add SMS Contacts:
In your Spacetalk app, select the '+' symbol in the bottom-left corner
Select your child's watch
Select 'More'
Find 'Connect' and select 'Watch Contacts'
Select '+ Contact'
Follow the prompts to add a new contact to your child's watch who will be able to SMS and call them without the use of their own Spacetalk app account
