Why can't I upload an IFC file?

IFC and BIM model uploads require the Pro plan. Free and Standard support PDF takeoffs only — here's why and how to upgrade.

IFC upload is a Pro feature

If you're trying to upload an IFC or Revit file and nothing happens — or you see a message that the file type isn't supported — it's because BIM model support is only available on the Pro plan.

How to get IFC support

Upgrade to Pro from your account settings. Pro costs €129/month or €1,238/year and includes 800 credits per month (cap: 2,400).

Once upgraded, you can upload IFC and Revit files directly into any project and use BIM linking, dynamic quantities, and all other BIM-based features.

Still on Free and just need PDF takeoffs?

If you only need to work from PDF drawings, the Free or Standard plan will cover you — no upgrade needed. PDF takeoffs work on all plans; the key limitation on Free is that you get one table with fixed columns.
