This is a troubleshooting article that describes how to access the browser's settings to clear temporary data (e.g. app settings in local storage, cookies, authentication) stored by the SparkReceipt web app.
In some cases the stored data in the browser might conflict with what the app expects. This can happen due to a bug in the web app or other issue leading to incomplete or otherwise broken data in the storage.
Clearing temporary data stored in browser's memory does not affect your stored documents in SparkReceipt. These are separate things and not linked to each other.
After clearing temporary data, you will need to login again in https://app.sparkreceipt.com/login
How to clear temporary data in desktop Safari
Open Safari on your Mac and navigate to the Settings:
2. In the Settings dialog, open the Privacy tab:
3. Click Manage Website Data and type sparkreceipt.com in the search input:
4. Now select the sparkreceipt.com from the list and click Remove.
5. After removing the data the list should be empty. Click Done to close the dialog:
6. Close the Settings dialog and go to https://app.sparkreceipt.com/login to login again. The app should let you login.
If the app still does not work correctly after following these steps, please contact support@sparkreceipt.com.
