Setting GPS coordinates for a Job: Customer Tab

· Open or create a job and populate Customer Tab (link).

· Use search box to confirm address in Google maps. Note it is the Job Contact address that will be used so ensure this is correct.

· Ensure you have entered the customer’s mobile number so they can so Sparky can SMS them that you or your staff are on your way.

· You can select Show Map (at bottom of Customer Tab) to see the location in Google Maps and you can drag and drop the pin if it not quite right.

Navigating to Job and sending SMS to customer: My Work

· Select the job by clicking on it in either the calendar or the list tab.

· Click on Navigate to Job, you will have the option of sending an SMS to the customer letting them know you are on your way with an approximate arrival time and your mobile number (e.g. ‘Hi Jane Smith, Great news, your Electrician Bob Johnson +6144444444 is on there way and will be there in approximately 22 minutes’).

· Google Maps will now open to navigate you to the job.

Use Map Tab to see jobs for yourself and your team over time in a Map: My Work

· The tab will shop you a pin in all of the jobs assigned to you over the time period that you have selected.

· You can also select the My Team tab to see all jobs allocated to your team (depending on your security settings).

· If you click on a pin you will see the details of the job.

· If there are multiple jobs on a site, you can click on a pin and see a list of all tasks.
