These statuses determine the visibility and availability of your listing to potential housemates. Here are the different listing statuses on Sparrow and what they mean:

Draft

The draft status means your listing is still in progress and not ready for publication. Once you complete all the bedroom details, your listing will be automatically submitted for review. If you have any questions or need assistance, our customer success team is here to help and can be reached at help@sparrowshare.com.

In Review

The in-review status indicates that your listing is being evaluated by Sparrow to ensure it meets our quality standards. Rest assured, we're working diligently to review your listing. You will be promptly notified once your listing is approved and published on the platform.

Published

Your listing is now live and visible to potential housemates on Sparrow. It's essential to be proactive and responsive to inquiries from interested housemates to maximize your chances of finding a housemate or tenant.

Declined

If your listing has been declined, don't worry. Our customer success team will reach out to you to discuss next steps and provide guidance on how to improve your listing so that it meets our quality standards. We're here to support you and help make your listing shine.

Hidden

The hidden status means that your listing is currently unpublished and not visible to housemates. This could be due to specific reasons, such as making updates or addressing quality issues. Rest assured, it is a temporary state. Your listing will be visible again once it's reactivated.

Closed

When your listing reaches the closed status, it means that it is no longer available for applications. Housemates will no longer be able to search or view your listing. This status is typically used when the listing has been rented out or is no longer available.
