How Do I Add a Sale Tile to the Homepage?

Step-by-step guide for adding a sale graphic tile on the homepage.

Step 1

Go to ‘Content’ in the left-hand side menu


Step 2

Select ‘Blocks

Step 3

Find the block titled ‘Banner - Tiles – CW Promotions

Step 4

Open the dropdown on the right-hand side

Step 5

Select ‘Edit

Step 6

Press ‘Edit with Page Builder

Step 7

Select one of the existing tiles (blue squares will appear on the corners of the image) and copy it (Ctrl + C / + C)

Step 8

Use your keyboard arrows to move the cursor to the right of the image and paste

Step 9

Right-click the image and select ‘Image

Step 10

Press the icon to select or upload an image

Note: Make sure your image has the following dimensions - 1004px width and 620px height (PNG or JPG)


a. Select the folder ‘Banners’

b. Select the sub-folder ‘Tiles’

c. Choose files to upload an image from your device

d. Press ‘Add Selected’

Step 11

Enter a brief description of the image/promotion

Step 12

Press ‘Save

Step 13

Select the image and right-click

Step 14

Press ‘Link’ to set a new hyperlink


Step 15

Fill in the details of the link including the URL and a description of where the link will take you

Step 16

Press ‘Save

Step 17

Close full-screen edit mode

Step 18

Press ‘Save’ to make your changes visible on the website

Step 19

The tile is not visible on the homepage



Troubleshooting

If the image height is larger than the other image tiles, follow the steps below:

Step 1

In the page builder, hover over the ‘Banner’ section and press the settings icon

Step 2

Scroll down to the ‘Content’ section

Step 3

Search through the html and delete any mention of a width and height

Note: It’s important that you don’t delete any other content from here. In the above example, you would only need to delete the following:

width = “880” height = “544”.
