The Davros Heads are lightweight tripod heads that utilise our MagnaSwitch attachment system, enabling you to swap quickly and securely between different rifles, optics, cameras and shooting accessories.
Similarities

Quick Attach with MagnaSwitch
Both designs of Davros head utilise the convenient MagnaSwitch™ attachment system, allowing you to mount a wide variety of rifles, as well as optics, cameras and accessories. This uncomplicated mounting system allows for very quick adaption between rifle and other accessories.

Both Davros head designs offer 360° of traverse movement, enabling you to effortlessly track moving targets with your rifle and observe vast landscapes with your optics.
Differences
Davros Head
The Davros head is the lightest of the two heads, weighing just 4oz / 115g. It features a straightforward friction control ring, enabling you to adjust the ball joint's friction for precise control. Higher friction levels can be set for added stability when using heavier rifles or optics.
With a generous range of movement, the Davros head allows for 25° left and right Cant adjustment and 25° ± elevation/depression movement. This wide range covers most field scenarios and angles, providing versatility in various shooting conditions.
Thanks to its lightweight, reliable, and simple design, the Davros head requires minimal maintenance and can even be conveniently cleaned in the field.
Davros Pro Head
The Davros Pro provides an expanded range of features specifically catering to individuals who spend prolonged periods using optics and glass. Despite a slight weight increase to 7.8oz / 222g, it remains lightweight while delivering increased functionality and performance.
The Davros Pro offers an increased range of movement with 45° left and right Cant adjustment, as well as 45° ± elevation/depression movement, allowing stability even in the most extreme mountain angles.
The friction control knob on the Davros Pro design allows for precise adjustment of the friction level, ensuring optimal stability. This feature is particularly beneficial when using heavier spotting scopes and optics devices. Additionally, a locking knob is provided to securely fix the ball joint in place, which is useful when leaving the device in position for extended periods of observation.
The addition of a dedicated Panning Base offers a silky-smooth platform for effortless panning of your optics, allowing you to enjoy extended periods of comfortable glassing.
A portrait / 90° mode is also featured, which is useful for video or photography work and also allows our phone holder to be used in a portrait mode.
