In this guide, we break down the components of the plan builder so you can figure out exactly what you need to fulfill your needs.

One of the important choices you can make is how long your subscription plan is. We give you 3 options:

The longer the plan, the bigger the discount you get. For example, when you sign up for a year you get a 20% discount.

You can select the length by clicking on the box and see the pricing change in real time.

You will notice a section on the left of the pricing page that says "All Plans Include".

This means that no matter what option you select, the details listed on the left side of the pricing page below it will be included in the plan.

All plans include a generous amount of functionality that enables you to do many core functionalities in Speak without requiring Premium Add-Ons, which we will cover later.

Another important choice to make is how many hours of audio and video transcription you want to include in your plan.

You can use the slider above to select the number of hours you want to be included each month or you just type the number in the input box.

If you sign up for a longer plan, you will get all the hours upfront. For example, if you choose 10 hours a month and select a 6-month plan, you will get 60 hours upfront for the entire period. With a monthly plan, you will only get that many hours per month and it will renew the number of hours at the start of your billing cycle.

This is a common question. If you don't know how many hours you need each month or over the period, you can include a small amount in your plan you know you will use or include no hours at all and then pay-as-you-go by charging your credit card or adding a balance.

There are a ton of teams using Speak! We have created an entire team management function within Speak that helps you add team members and manage what they can do.

You can use the slider or input how many team members will be using Speak. It will automatically update the price and when finalizing the subscription, create the plan to include that many team member slots in the account.

Speak Magic Prompts is an incredible functionality that helps you analyze your data and get valuable concise responses by asking questions and prompting your files.

Because Magic Prompts are so server intensive, Speak measures the number of characters it analyzes to calculate pricing. Currently, we charge $2 USD for 250,000 characters.

To understand this better, here is a breakdown of characters and how it relates to words:

While this is not exact, you can use these numbers to build an understanding of how many characters you may need if you want to use Magic Prompts.

If you think about an average speech at 150 words per minute, you can calculate that the average 60-minute audio file will have approximately 9,000 words. To analyze that file with Speak Magic Prompts considering 4 characters per word you would then need approximately 50,000 characters.

If you don't know exactly how much you will use, you can choose to do the same option as audio and video and include a lower amount you know you will use and then pay-as-you-go by adding a balance to Speak.

Premium Add-Ons are advanced functionality add-ons that we have included at additional price points within Speak. These are general for expert users and teams who need more functionality than the basic system Speak provides.

All premium add-ons have a description below. You can add these to your plan by checking the checkbox.

With all of those details selected, you can see your perfect plan up top on the right.

In the example above, you can see a great annual plan with 20% off included.

Select the "Update" button to lock in your plan. If you are choosing a longer plan, it will show you your total savings.

Once you hit update, a modal will pop up to ask you for your credit card and billing details.

Once you fill those you details out, submit and voila 🎉

Your account will automatically be created with everything you selected and you can start using Speak right away.
