Importing sets of words and phrases into Speakable is a quick and easy process that allows users to easily access and use their existing sets on other online platforms. To import sets from Quizlet:

  1. Click the create button in the header

  2. Click the Import button in the set you created

  3. Sign in to your Quizlet account and open the set you want to import

  4. Select the Export button

  5. Copy the set to your clipboard using the Copy text button

  6. Paste into the Speakable import

  7. Select the Import button

Note: Quizlet only allows users that own a set to use the export function. To export sets created by another Quizlet user, copy the set to your library, then export.

To import sets from Excel or Google Sheets:

  1. Open the spreadsheet containing the sets you want to import

  2. Highlight the set and copy it to your clipboard

  3. Paste into the Speakable import

  4. Select the Import button

Once you have imported the set, it will appear in the Library tab in Speakable and can be assigned to students as a speaking assignment.
