Type at the beginning of a block:

Headings

  • Type # and Space to create an H1

  • Type ## and Space to create an H2

  • Type ### and Space to create an H3

Lists

  • Type - and Space to create a bullet list item

  • Type 1. and Space to create a numbered list item

  • Type [] and Space to create a checklist list item

Other

  • Type > and Space to create a block quote

Type anywhere inside the block:

Bold & Italics

  • Type ** on either side of some text to make it bold

  • Type * on either side of some text to make it italic
